About the Event:

The Riverfront Island area of Lewiston is 77 acres in size. It was the industrial heartland of the city.   It has 3,740 feet of river frontage, over a mile of canals, and over 1.8 million square feet of mill space. Today it has a performing arts center, museum, and four public parks.  The city controls 1,250 parking spaces, and the primary artery sees 26,000 cars per day.  The City just completed a 9 month long master planning process for the area that engaged more than 40 stakeholders and had more than 100 citizens participating in each of the public meetings.  More than $18 million in new investment is already under construction.

Join us on November 7th at DiVinciís in the Bates Mill Complex to learn more about the plan, the opportunities, and the tools utilized, both past and present, to redevelop this area that functioned as the birth place of the city.
