  Maine Real Estate & Development Association (MEREDA) Announces Addition to its Board of Directors  
  The Maine Real Estate & Development Association (MEREDA) is pleased to announce that Tim Tower of Northeast Bank has been elected to its Board of Directors.

Tim joined Northeast Bank in 2005, as Regional Vice President, following a number of years developing business in Southern Maine. Tim has worked full time in Commercial Credit and Lending since 1990. This experience includes formal credit training at a large, regional bank, as well as time spent at fledgling institutions and community banks. Other responsibilities have included the creation of Credit Policy and procedures, acting as bank liaisons with third party agencies, mentoring junior lenders, and as a voting member of Loan Approval Committee for larger credits.

Tim specializes in lines of credit, equipment loans, and commercial real estate loans. He serves all industries and prides himself on product knowledge of government agency programs and alternate funding sources. Similarly, Tim strives to provide added value to his customer base through his knowledge of ancillary banking products and outside services to meet client needs. 

Tim has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, has completed the International Economics program, City University in London, England, and has completed several extensive coursework, seminars, and continuing education opportunities.
