  Maine Real Estate & Development Association Announces Additions to its Board of Directors  
     
  The Maine Real Estate & Development Association (MEREDA) Board of Directors is pleased to announce that James Delamater, President & CEO of Northeast Bank and Kevin Mattson, President of Harper's Development have been elected as new Directors.

Jim Delamater has served as the leader of Northeast Bank and all related companies since 1981. Delamater is also a past Chairman of both the Maine Bankers Association and the Maine Association of Community Bankers. Long active in civic and community organizations, Jim is a member of the loan committee for the Androscoggin Valley Council of Governments (AVCOG) and serves on the Oxford Hills Growth Council Board of Directors. Jim is also a published author recently releasing The Great American Mismatch.

Born in Lewiston, Jim graduated from Oxford Hills High School and received a nomination to the US Air Force Academy from the State of Maine. He served in the US Air Force after which he attended the University of South Carolina and University of Southern Maine.

Kevin Mattson is President of Harper's Development and oversees the day to day management of the company. Since 1997 he has led Harper's efforts to acquire its current portfolio of properties currently in excess of one million square feet. He previously was Chief of Staff to the Majority Leader of the Maine House and Executive Director of the Maine Democratic Party. He is a graduate of Skidmore College and received an MBA from the University of Maine.

According to Shelly R. Clark, Business & Operations Manager of MEREDA, "Both Mr. Delamater & Mr. Mattson bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our organization.
